Designation - Web Content Strategist

Experience - 3 to 5 yrs

Location - Bangalore

Job Description

1. Responsible for conducting a comprehensive analysis of domain content

 - Assess, catalogue, and organize website content inventory

 - Ensure the proper coding of web content enabling flipkart, mobiles to maximize search engine optimization (SEO) presence

 - Identify key performance indicators to measure site performance, analyze results, and report on metrics

 - Conduct research and content audits in order to guide strategy and ensure high quality, intuitive, user-centric content

 - Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends, editorial techniques, and applicable technologies

2. Develop a plan to execute the web content strategy

 - Provide input to leadership regarding the web content strategy

 - Manage the change management process required to keep the website evolving in the right direction

 - Develop a competitive site analysis/Gap analysis

 - Conduct content workshops

3.  Team management/ inter-department interaction

 - Supervise a team of content analyst, data operations executives, BD executive

 - Point of contact with the content management team

 - Coordinate with the website team for web-customization

Desired Candidate Profile

 - Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.

 - A minimum of three to five years of experience working in online content strategy, preferably in a design, marketing, or public relations agency setting.

 - Requires a demonstrated ability to create compelling content for different kinds of interactive media including websites, email newsletters, and social media.

 - Demonstrated experience conducting a comprehensive content audit on the web

 - Knowledgeable of the emerging field of content strategy (Halverson) and how to measure content effectiveness.
