Media Director India - DWA - Delhi

ResponsibilityResponsible for the entire media department or for the representative function. Leads the strategic and investment process across key client business and major projects, by managing client business on a daily basis, being accountable for group’s output, being responsible for total management of the group’s accounts and managing staff and time within the group.

Reporting line Country Manager India

Key interfaces Management team, Account Managers, Planning and/or Buying Managers, Media Assistants
Client marketing and business personnel, media suppliers, creative and PR agencies
Main tasks
  • Assisting in profitable running of business unit to ensure financial goals are met
  • Management and ongoing development of company structure and resources
  • Staff management, task delegation, time management, training and motivation
  • Marketing and media knowledge of clients’ business
  • Solid understanding and interpretation of research, market data and systems
  • Account management and interface for client/agency liaison
  • Assists, develops and implements new business opportunities
  • Building successful working relationships with media representatives and clients to ensure objectives are being delivered and relationships are strong...
  • Client satisfaction based on performance of team
  • Managing team resources for development of media strategies
  • Preparation of major client presentations and documents
  • Supervising all aspects of clients investment
  • Supervising of relevant financial reporting (expenditure, contracts, performance results etc)
