Job Description
Job Summary:As a Manager, Marketing you translate broad strategies into structured marketing plans. You will work with marketing senior management to ensure that departmental goals are established and reported; and provide management oversight to subordinate level managers.
Essential Functions:
- Provide support and leadership to a cross functional team of Marketing Managers, Product Managers, and Sales to meet departmental objectives and revenue targets.
- Utilize previously acquired expertise to support Marketing Managers complete projects and meet deadlines.
Areas of focus may include:
- Sales Analysis
- Market Analysis
- Market Sizing and Segmentation
- Outbound Marketing
- Tradeshows and events
- Cross-functional team projects
- Communications
- Presentations
- Other
- Monitor the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace.
- Create structured product marketing plans, communicate plans to Product Managers, Sales, Support, and
Product Development.
- Oversee market research efforts, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer's marketing needs.
- Interact with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to enhance existing products or product line(s).
- Lead new product definition and business plans with other departments.
- Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Develop an annual budget collaboratively with senior management.
- Manage and participate in long-term projects and strategic initiates.

Requirements:- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to lead and influence cross functional teams.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
- Marketing experience in the technology industry or related consulting experience.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Management:
- This position is responsible for managing Business analysts in Bangalore while working cross GEO
- The focus of this role is on business and its implication.
- The potential impact of decisions made by this individual will be mostly operational with some financial.
- This individual will apply attained experience and knowledge to address issues that are diverse in scope, and resolve problems through short- and mid-term planning.
Interaction:
- This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees and employees within and outside of their department and function.
- Utilizes people skills and available manager tools to positively impact the development of subordinates within their role and career.
- This individual must demonstrate favorable results through providing leadership to function and to staff.
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as an individual contributor and 1 to 5 years as a people manager is required.
- A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree is required, as well as higher degree such as an MBA
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects is required.
