Job Description:
You will be a part of the MCOS team and will be responsible for heading the Marketing function from offshore in perfect alignment with the Group’s strategy and direction.
MCOS (Marketing & Communications Offshore Services) is the Group-wide Marketing & Communications shared services organization providing services ranging from design, content and web to account based marketing, pursuit marketing, GTM program management and global campaign support.
Already a 100 people organization, the team has strong growth plans, with a vision to emerge as the world’s leading integrated marketing and communications services organization.
Working closely with the Group Marketing Sponsor and MCOS Director, help build a strong Marketing Community offshore that is capable of catering to the ever growing needs of the organization.
Role & Responsibilities:
Post graduate degree/diploma in marketing from a reputed institution (Preferred. Not compulsory) and/or relevant experience working with Tier 1 IT organization

Role & Responsibilities:
- Create a vibrant offshore Marketing community of skilled resources
- To work closely with stakeholders across the globe to drive marketing programs, along with their offshore teams
- Nurture and develop newer capabilities in the offshore like ‘Social Media Marketing’ & ‘Marketing Content creation’; liaise with key Sales and Marketing Leads to execute pilots and assessments
- Spot opportunities where the offshore Marketing Stream can add value and drive these opportunities
- Drive compelling Success Stories/ Reference Programs across the Group
- Leverage the existing shared services team across capabilities like design, IC, web and campaigns for all Marketing support
- Regular interactions with the existing stakeholders for a temperature check on current engagements
- Lead the current offshore marketing stream to achieve their individual objectives and the stream objectives and help the team perform at the next level
- Regular interactions with the team; work closely with each team member and help them in their area of expertise/business
- Identify/provide platforms for sharing best practices
- Organize & run L&D programs that is customized to the stream/individuals
- Facilitate timely reporting to MCOS Director and Stream Sponsor
- 12+ years of experience in Corporate M&C, with 5-7 years in driving core marketing programs in a Tier 1 IT Organization
- The person needs to have led a team of marketers in the recent past
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written is a must
- Strong interpersonal and executive interactions skills
- Ideally, should have supported large key accounts with penetration-focused marketing
- Should be able to write/review Marketing Content
- Should have an understanding of how to leverage Social Media for marketing
- Exposure to CRM, Siebel Marketing/Demand Gen programs desirable
- Should be proficient in running customer intimacy programs and thought leadership campaigns
- A track-record in working in an offshore-onshore model would be good to have
- Good team player and leader
- Should have the ability to comprehend complex thoughts and handle multi-skill projects
- Structured and process oriented
- Creative, innovative, and quality driven
- Excellent presentation skills and willingness to travel
