Job Description:

In this position, the individual will analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configure system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Design details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. The individual will be responsible for the management of the overall environment including capacity analysis and planning, performance tuning, auditing, and optimization. Creation and maintenance of security groups and content. Troubleshooting/tuning CMS and server tuning parameters.

Desired Candidate Profile:

This position requires 6 to 8 yrs of experience in SAP Business Objects BI system administration and development. Experience installing, configuring, administering and upgrading Business Objects BI environment. Experience with architecting, developing and deploying Business Intelligence solutions with Business Objects BI suite of tools including, but not limited to, Universe Designer, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Dashboard Design (Xcelsius).Experience with developing and maintaining universes. Experience with deploying reports with complex layouts, drill down, bursting and graphics capabilities. Experience with developing dashboards for executive information users would be an added advantage. Demonstrated understanding of SAP BI and Business Objects integration. Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong collaboration skills.
