Job Description
- Responsible for the overall brand management for one Cargill brand. As a key marketing resource, the incumebnt is to work towards achieving sales targets and brand metrices through the marketing function.
- Responsible for planning strategic and tactical initiatives to combat new entrants and existing competition for said brand.
- Strengthening the communication messages in a low margin environment.
- Work with formal and informal market data and analysis to generate insights and consequent plans.
- Responsible in playing a vital role in Facilitating collaboration with supporting functions like Commercial, Supply Chain, Plants and Human Resources towards driving marketing goals for the brand.
- Should be aware of the competitor activities.
- This is a position for a strong execution and strategic thinker. Decisions are required around marketing plans, tactics, communication messages, etc.
- Plays a very active role in managing the ad agency relationship.
• Must be a postgraduate in Business Management with atleast 2-5 years experience in B2C Marketing.
• Experience in marketing in a low cost environment is desirable
• Demonstrated evidence of innovative marketing solutions in a highly competitive environment.
• Exhibit evidence to pay attention to details, high execution orientation, and the potential for strategic thinking
• Basic marketing theory and brand management skills
• Extremely strong in execution
• Should have the ability to read, understand and evaluate trends and convert them into business opportunity.
• Needs a very high degree of independent thinking and has to help develop plans for markets keeping in mind competition activity, expected market behaviour, growth expected etc.• Extremely strong in execution
• Should have the ability to read, understand and evaluate trends and convert them into business opportunity.
• The market is extremely competitive and price sensitive so the ability to differentiate Cargill oil in the market place is significant.
• The role holder needs to ensure that other functions are able to understand the customer needs and influence their decisions.
• Be strong in managing conflicts and change.
