Job Description:

As a assistant Director for Corporate Communications you will be responsible for designing and delivering a communications strategy for the Global Shared Services-Core Business Services function and support the Head of the Global Shared Services-Core Business ServicHi Rishies in his leadership agenda 

Client responsibilities 
  • Responsible for overall planning of communication effort to support growing Global Shared Services-Core Business Services organization
  • Demonstrates all GSS strategic priorities are being covered with appropriate depth and frequency
  • To lead internal communication
  • To lead external communication and engagement with customers/stakeholders
  • To deliver marketing materials, including consistency of look and feel
  • Provide communication counsel and develop relationships with Leadership team
  • Source and prepare engaging content that will be used to demonstrate progress of the organization
  • Actively puts in place systems for listening and feedback to measure communications effectiveness
  • Develop channels that will be required to effectively reach diverse audiences / stakeholders
  • Develop relationship with existing communication team, and other resources eg design and creative services


People responsibilities 
  • Should have good people management skills with ability to lead and motivate the team
  • Provide development, coaching and guidance to more junior members
  • Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
  • Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training
  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills
  • Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate with professional or higher qualification in CIM, PR, Internal Communication or Corporate Communication desirable.
  • Min 10 years experience in communications for global organizations and / or in major transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of internal communications and employee engagement, especially involving global audiences
  • Experience of working in wider marketing disciplines, including producing marketing and sales collateral
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at a senior level and to team across boundaries (geographical and functional)
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong project management and delivery skills
  • Working knowledge of Ernst & Young and/or professional services sector desirable
  • Experience of working across different cultures and geographies
  • Experience of working in shared service environment
  • Structured thinking and communication
  • Ability to think laterally and creatively
  • Will to travel extensively
