Job Description:

Head of Media Relations supervises Media logistics which include media lists of all beats, Journalist profiles, and media organizational profiles. Mapping media opportunities for all practices such as Tech & Telecom, Brand & Consumer, Corporate and Political.

-          Maintaining Media relations at all levels such as Editors, Bureau Chiefs, Beat Correspondents in both Print and Broadcast genre.

-          Planning Media communication strategy for clients and major events.

-          Media Intelligence on Media movements and developments in Media organisations.

-          Handling Crisis situation for clients and brand/reputation management campaigns

-          Mentor and enhance media skills for internal stakeholders

-          Provide consultancy to internal stakeholders for all media related activities

-          Communication plan for campaigns and crisis management

-         Key messaging for client activities

-         Mentor and enhance media skills for internal stakeholders

Desired Candidate Profile:

EXPERIENCE: At least 10-12 years of hard core media experience. Should have strong media network, understanding of business and general news.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A postgraduate with a specialization in Mass communications, journalism from a leading institution.

SKILLS: An individual with a strong media network understanding of business and general news and ability to decipher impact of important economic developments. Should have positive attitude and be a team player. Should be able to multi-task and work in a deadline oriented culture
