Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
The Channel Partnerships team focuses on building and managing long‐term relationships with partners that scale the sales and management of Google’s advertising products to the long‐tail of SMB advertisers. We are focused on empowering the millions of small and medium sized businesses with Google AdWords and other advertising solutions – all toward the goal of driving revenue for our customers, our partners, and Google. Members of this team work cross‐functionally across Google’s organisation, gain board exposure to a range of Google products, and will interact daily with leading partners, from large media companies to venture backed start‐ups.

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for partners around all key areas and lead cross‐functional effort (marketing, sales engineering, account management, training) to identify and solve roadblocks.
  • Develop strategic account plans for the partners with eye toward identifying creative, initiatives.
  • Define and drive implementation of performance improvement initiatives for specific partners based on detailed understanding of the partners’ business and available Google tools.
  • Ensure partners are fulfilling their contractual obligations and that Google is providing the required support for them to do so
  • Lead ad hoc projects focused on the strategic growth of the programme.

  • Desired Candidate Profile:

    Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of work experience, including commercial partner management, business development or strategic consulting experience.


  • Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA.
  • Must be extremely analytical with command over spreadsheets
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders with the objective of improving commercial performance.
  • Previous industry experience working directly with traditional media companies, servicing the SMB market or negotiating deals/agreements with partners.
  • Strong communication skills
  • written, verbal and presentation. Fluent in English and one Indian language.
