General Manager - Market Development & Strategy
Location - Mumbai
* Responsible for end-to-end incubation (Strategy, value proposition, business model definition, product conceptualization, channel definition, commercialization etc)
* Identify areas of growth for the Sector with a focus of building business in different regions globally - Market-based strategic planning process, content and integration of multi-year growth and technology roadmaps.
* Establish strategy planning & marketing processes across emerging regions (global) to consistently identify new growth & productivity opportunities
* Active due diligence for global start ups.
* Identification of businesses partners. In some cases identify JV partners based on different types of analysis (DCF, NPV, VC/ PE investment analysis etc).
* Conceptualize & establish the processes & systems behind innovation.
* Define strategy for emerging region - R&D locations.
* Drive cross functional teams to convert opportunities into commercial propositions. Driving cross functional teams around initiatives of productivity, cost reduction & change management
Candidate Profile:
* Candidate should be MBA (2 yrs full time) in Marketing or Strategy from a reputed business school (pass out between 1997 – 2002).
* Business Schools – IIMs, SPJain, FMS – Delhi, JBIMS (Jamna Lal Bajaj), IMT – Ghaziabad, MDI, SIBM, NMIMS, XLRI, IIFT, XIMB, SCMHRD, SIFT, ISB
* PRE MBA EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
* Executive MBA programs will not be considered.
* Candidate should have rich experience in Strategy & International Marketing with a reputed company and should have good knowledge in both marketing and Strategy domains.
* Should also be comfortable with financial ratios (correlation/ regression analysis/ NPV – DCF and other ratios)
